TurboTax software is licensed for up to five federal e-files---no more than five----any more than five returns prepared using TurboTax must be filed by mail. You say the returns will be prepared by volunteers-----do they have the credentials to use the professional tax software?

I think you need to be looking at professional software, and probably need to register with the IRS as a tax preparer.
The desktop version of Turbotax can prepare 80 returns, but the last 75 all have to be filed by mail. And they have to be signed by the taxpayer, because even if you have an IRS registration number, it is a violation of the regulations and the turbotax license for a preparer to sign a Turbotax return, since it is supposed to be a personal use program.

And...just to add----that five federal e-file limit using personal use tax software is an IRS limit--not a TurboTax limit. So you will have that same issue no matter what tax software you use unless it is professional software that can be used for more than five federal e-files prepared by a preparer who has a PTIN.
