what of I dont need this and doesnt apply to us
Just press OK or Continue. That worked for me. I'm not getting a refund anyway so there should be no concern for me. If you need it, check with insurance provided by your employer.
Did you acquire health insurance from the Marketplace under the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare)? If so, you should have received a 1095-A, and the IRS requires that you file a form 8962, which is created when you enter the 1095-A into TurboTax.
If, however, you did not buy Marketplace health insurance, then you must not indicate that you had such a form, because TurboTax (for good reason) will insist that you enter it.
If you are being told in the Review in TurboTax that you have to enter form 1095-A, then do a Search (upper right) for 1095-a and click on the jump-to link (Mac users must find 1095-A in the Topics List).
Here you can click on "No, I didn't receive Form 1095-A". Alternatively, you may be presented a table of 1095-A forms. Delete the 1095-A form using the Delete button or the trash can icon.
If you still can't get through the Review, try this:
*** Desktop***
1. go to View (at the top), choose Forms, and select 1095-A. Note the Delete Form button at the bottom of the screen.
*** Online ***
1. go to Tax Tools (on the left), and navigate to Tools->Delete a form
2. delete form(s) 1095-A
