Does anyone know what exactly the revison on the bottom of the forms refers to, or means? The revision will sometimes change with a TT update and every form seems to have the same revision, it isn't specific to any one form. It will usually have a date and TTW next to it. For example "Rev 03/07/25 TTW"
Is this an internal Intuit/TT thing or a Treasury revision or what? What causes the revisions to change and what does it mean when it changes?
If a new revision has been released in between the time someone prints and later signs/mails in their return, is that going to raise flags?
It would be greatly appreciated if an Intuit employee could shed some light onto what the forms revision is all about, and any implications it has...

Which form exactly are you looking at?
In general, this would be because the IRS revised the form and this is the latest form that they released. If you filed before the revised date and used an old version, unless the tax law changed, there will be no changes to your return. If something did change with the tax law due to that form change, then in general, you would be notified by the IRS
@Vanessa A As I mentioned, it isn't specific to any one form - all forms share the same revision. It is on the bottom of the last page of EVERY form. And it has "TTW' after it, something not found on the Treasury forms - which leads me to suspect it is an internal Intuit/TT thing, but this is what I'm trying to understand. I want to know what the revision means, what causes the revision to change, and any implications it may have.

No, it should not raise any red flags for being out of sequence.
