I received a W2 and a 1099-misc. it should have all been income on my W2. I called my employer and he sent me a W2-C. So now everything is correct. I have not filed my taxes yet. What do I do with the 1099-misc? I am afraid it will get double reported.

You will need to ask the employer if they sent the corrected information to the IRS and State if applicable. Also, inquire if a corrected 1099-MISC form was issued with a $0 amount in compensation. If so, ask for a copy of the corrected 1099-MISC form.
