We did not receive a Form 1099-HC, but the state return is asking for a Federal Identification number of insurance company.

Mass Health stated on the phone that we would not get this form. Don't know where to get the number otherwise.

Since you had MassHealth during the year, you will need to do the following in TurboTax:

1. Sign into your TurboTax account (if you aren't already)
2. Click on the State taxes tab, you will then be guided through the State interview process, 
3. On the screen, Let's Go Over Your Health Insurance Information, click Continue 
4. When you come to the interview question When did you have minimum creditable coverage (MCC)? you will select the appropriate option which applies to your Health Insurance coverage
5. When you come to the interview question What type of health insurance did you have in 2016? you will need to select I had something else
6. Then What type of insurance was it?, Check the box, MassHealth
7. Next screen, That's All We Need For you
