Both 1099 misc income is reported as other income. My husband's income was cash income paid by the manufacturer of one of the types of cars we sell at work. The income was for customer satisfaction survey responses for the work he performed on their vehicles. My 1099 was a trip that I won from a manufacturer of one of the types of cars we sell at work. The trip was earned in a program that I am enrolled in at work and was based on tests that I completed and by submitting my employers financial statements accurately and timely each month to the manufacturer. How do we report these incomes? Are they considered job related or prize money?
