I finished my information for fed and state taxes, and paid for TurboTax. But instead of filing my taxes,it said I had to wait for an email because the IRS isn't finished with some paperwork/forms?? What is this all about?? I never had a problem before.

Tax filing season has been delayed due to COVID.  The IRS isn't beginning to accept returns until February 12 this year.

That said, some of the forms you need to properly file your return aren't quite ready.  TurboTax will notify you by email when the forms have been made available to TurboTax and your return is ready to file.  So just wait for that email and you'll be good to go.

Thank you for the reply! I did actually get the email, jumped back online and e-filed all my taxes. Everything went smoothly, as it always has with turbo tax.

  Thanks again!!
