I just mailed my amended 2019 taxes. I imported that file into TurboTax 2020 to do this year’s taxes. Is there any reason I would need to wait for the amended taxes before filing 2020?
I don’t think I have any carry over deductions or withholding.
No, if amending your 2019 return did not generate any carryover losses or other situations that carried over to your 2020 return then you can go ahead with filing your 2020 return at any time.
