W2 states invalid ein. How do I get it?

First, take a closer look at the information on your W-2. 

Often there is a control number on the form that may appear to be the employer's Federal ID number (EIN).  Make sure the number you are entering is the EIN and not the control number.  The EIN should be in the format xx-xxxxxxx and not a single long string of digits.  

If you are still getting the error message, check with your employer for the correct information and request a corrected W-2 showing the correct information.

Thank you but that wasn’t what I was looking for. The state ID number states invalid typed on the form. I’ll contact them for a correct one.
