Am I taxed for the amount entered on line DD on my W-2

No, never. Code DD could be 2 million dollars, and it wouldn't matter.

If you are seeing a result, make sure you aren't selecting the box number instead of the code number.

For instance, Box 12a code DD. If you accidentally picked "a" in Turbo Tax, that is like saying the code is "A" and not "DD". People make this mistake sometimes.
