W2 has incorrect excess HSA contribution. Should I wait to get corrected W2 to file my return?

If I know the correct amount, can I just go ahead and file?

You should wait to get a corrected W-2. If you used the incorrect W-2, you will have to amend your return later.

Here's the potential problem:

If you file now, using what you believe to be the corrected information (and you will need to check the box for "corrected W-2" on the page of special situations), and the corrected W-2 when you get it does not match what you file, you will have to file an amended return and could have other hangups.
