Could you be more specific? No one here can see your return. What is your W-2 question?

Hint: Employers have until January 31 to mail your W-2s; it can take two weeks (possibly longer) for them to arrive in the mail. You should always wait for your W-2s and important 1099s (especially 1099-NEC) before filing (unless it's April 15, of course -- actually the 18th this year thanks to DC Emancipation Day).

Please see my reply to your more detailed PM.

To get to the section you need to be in order to enter the W-2, you will have to sign in, continue your return and in the search bar, type in W-2. There will be a jump to link. From there you can  enter your W-2 information any one of the following ways:

  1. import it in by entering the Employer Identification Number found in box b of your W-2
  2. upload from your computer or
  3. manually enter it

If using your are using the mobile app, you can also take a picture of your W-2.

@ZoltanB45 The PM I received indicated they were being asked to enter a 2020 W-2 instead of 2021, which should NOT be happening in TurboTax Online. I replied to that PM with possible scenarios; they have not responded.

@Carry12201960  If it's asking about a 2020 W2 then one transferred over from 2020 and it wants you to fill it in for 2021. If you don't have it again this year or entered it as a new W2 then you need to delete the one that transferred over.
