Virginia Car Registration Fees

Hello,

I am new to this.

Last year I bought a car and I found a section in my turbotax to fill my car registration fees. I have no idea where to find this info.

I checked my contract, I checked my DMV account, I called my dealer (wasn't helpful), I checked on my car registration card. I couldn't find such piece of info.

Please help me and I really appreciate it,

In California, the fee is that part of a vehicle license fee that is standard and doesn't change with the age of the vehicle. That is clearly delineated on the bill you get for license renewal. On the Virginia DMV website, it provides a fee schedule as a pdf.  That link is https://www.dmv.virginia.gov/webdoc/pdf/dmv201.pdf. The table indicates that most cars will have a $40.75 registration fee. If over 4,000 lbs, the fee is $45.75.
