I had to replace the fan inside my macbook pro as well as purchase a new power adapter cord for it in 2018. Can I deduct this?

This is confusing because turbotax words it as "Supplies include items you use regularly to do your work that last less than one year." They list external harddrives and cords which clearly for the most part last more than a year much like the fan and power adapter I had to purchase.

They can be listed as supplies, office expense, computer expense, etc. I understand that there is a bit of a contradiction, but these items are expenses. Could even be listed under repairs and maintenance.

Are there any limitations for deducting items like this? Like would I have had to gross a certain amount from this income to qualify for these deductions?...or for instance, only including the actual price of the fan since there was also a shipping cost involved? Thank you!

There are not limitations and I would include the shipping cost as an expense
