I'm trying to import from Vanguard but keep getting an "account not found Error" My wifes info imported fine and I can log into Vanguard using the same id/pass.
Any Ideas?

Vanguard has two options:
Some customers have had success using Brokerage instead of Mutual Fund or vice versa.
I have two accounts, mutual funds and brokerage. These two separate accounts have separate ID and password. The mutual funds account works fine in importing, but brokerage one keeps failing. I already talked to Vanguard and after lengthy investigation, they determined the problems are with TurboTax.
Any comments from Turbotax?
I'm having the same issue
Exactly what is your issue. Please provide the details on the error message so that we can assist you.
Hi,
I'm trying to import a 1099-DIV from Vanguard. After I try to import I receive this error message:
"Something unexpected happened and we need to try again.
Enter your info again, and watch out for typos. If it still doesn't work, double check it with the financial institution to make sure it's correct. (907)"
My account is held by the Vanguard Group - Brokerage Account, so I'm trying to import from that selection in the UI (although I've also tried to import from Vanguard Group - Mutual Fund Accounts). I've quadruple confirmed I'm using the correct user name and password, and I've tried copy/pasting the password and typing the password. Nothing works.
The personal copies of this/these form(s) are available in my account at Vanguard. I also called TurboTax help and didn't receive any useful guidance (was simply told to wait longer as the form may not be available for download yet from Vanguard).
Any help would be appreciated.
Have you also tried clearing your cache and refreshing? This may also help. Hep with doing so has been provided by clicking here.
Unfortunately this didn't resolve the issue. I just cleared my cache and tried again and that didn't help. I still receive the same error message. I again tried different areas (e.g. tried both Vanguard Brokerage and Vanguard Mutual Funds, tried both importing from the 1099-DIV screen, the 1099-INT and the 1099-B screens (I have forms for all)). Nothing works. Same error message: 907.
It is possible that Vanguard does not have their form available to import yet. You can enter the information manually or you can contact Vanguard and ask when 1099-DIV will be available for import.
You need to use Brokerage, not Mutual Funds.
