Using MacOS 10.15.7 Extracting update stops at approximately 95%. Cannot cancel. Attempted update multiple times. How do I load update or skip update?

Most likely it is updating the unemployment exclusion. You can skip it for now and update it before you file your return if you received unemployment compensation in 2020.

Having the same problem, updating stuck extracting at 95%. How can I skip the update? There's no skip option I can see.

After I tried unsuccessfully to bypass the update, the extraction completed many minutes later while I was trying to find the turbotax support phone number.
