Hello, How do I report interest earned on a cashed treasury note? 1099?

To report Treasury note interest earned in TurboTax:

  • Type in 1099-int in the search box, top right of your screen, then click the magnifying glass
  • Click the jump to 1099-int link in the search results.

Follow your first two page prompts until you arrive at the third page, Let's get your 1099-INT or brokerage statement details page

Check the box My form has info in more than just box 1 (this is uncommon)

Enter treasury note interest in box #3 Saving Bonds and treasury int
