I have Turbotax Deluxe 2025. I am still trying to figure out how to upload all my 1099-R forms which come from companies such as Athene that are not listed in your program. I follow the instructions that gets me to the import your data now but there is no upload option that I can see anywhere on the screen. Just Import Now, Skip import, or Continue. Continue just takes me to import now. Skip import takes me to manually inputting. I see no option to upload a pdf or any other type of document. My software updated as of today 4/8/2026.

NOT ON THE DROP DOWN LIST
If your bank or financial institution is not on the drop down list, click the words “I’ll type it in myself” and key in your information by hand.
See if your financial institution is on the Partner List - If not, you will have to enter the information manually.
I know I can hand enter all of my 1099-R's manually but that is quite a lot of work especially when the help shows that Turbotax used to be able to upload pdfs of the 1099-R's in the past. Because these are all from the same institution can I save having to reenter the addresses all the time by adding together the entries from all the 1099-R's and entering them into one 1099-R form in Turbotax. I can't see why this wouldn't work except there may be a one to many 1099-R form relationship that the IRS may not like?
NO! You have to enter each 1099R separately.
What a bummer!!! Why would they remove being able to upload 1099-R pdf's? I asked my browser's Search Assistant about Turbotax 2025 vs. 2024 and it replied.
Many users have reported that the TurboTax 2025 version has deteriorated in quality and user experience compared to 2024, citing issues like inefficient processes and difficulties with importing data. This has led to dissatisfaction among long-time users who feel the software is no longer intuitive or user-friendly.
You can say that again!
