Updates require me signed in as Administrator

Every time Turbotax 2025 tries to do an update (Windows 11) it fails, saying that I need to be signed in as administrator. I then have to log out and sign in as admin to do the update - which consistently requires me to re-enter my license for Turbotax. My question is, why is this necessary - it hasn't been necessary in the past?
