How do I save what I have done till I get everything to finish?

I'll assume you are referring to the Online version of TurboTax.

Online TurboTax saves each time you change screens.   The best way to exit, however, is to click on MY ACCOUNT at the top and choose "Save and Sign Out."

UPDATE for 2017
:
This was a thread from last year (2016 returns) and the current directions are now different.

How to sign out depends on what task you are doing and where you are in your account.    If you return is not open and you are just in your account, then you can use the MY ACCOUNT method above.  However, if your return is open, you won't have a MY ACCOUNT tab at the top.   So here's how to sign out if you've been working on your return:

The website appearance has been revised for 2017.   For 2017 returns, the menu is in the left column.   Scroll way down to the bottom of the left menu column and there is a "Sign Out" tab.  It may not be visible unless you scroll down while the cursor is in that column.  i.e., you may have to scroll the column, not the whole screen.
