What do I do if I filed and did not attach my w-2's

these are not additional w-2's only the ones I used to file the return. I just forgot to attach them only remembered after I put it in the mail box

Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do now.  I would recommend holding on to them, the IRS could process your return without it, if they need it they will ask for it and then you can mail it to them.  You could also call the IRS customer service line at 1 800 829 1040 to verify and confirm what you should do next.
