That depends on the rest of the variables----your total amount of income, your filing status, dependents, credits and deductions, etc.

Hello, Xmas baby is correct there are allot of variables. Here is a link to the tax bracket calculator. Just put in your filing status and annual taxable income and it will give you the tax bracket you're in.

2021 approximate UI total $23,000, single, no deductions, no dependants.

Unemployment Tax Responsibility

No one knows if federal tax on unemployment will be waived for 2021 tax returns.  The law that passed in March 2021 was only for 2020 tax returns.   It would take another act of Congress to waive any federal tax on unemployment received in 2021.
