It sounds like someone else has put in a typo in their personal information an accidentally typed in your email address or phone number. Or, your password was compromised. Intuit has not announced any breaches (they are required by law) so it may be that if you use the same password on more than one web site, some other site may have been compromised.
Start by changing your password.
If you still get access requests from 2-factor, you can try calling customer support and asking specifically for the security team.
