I see this is a RECURRING problem going back at least SIX years.
I successfully imported 2 packages from Ameriprise. The third one repeatedly gets the same error:
We didn’t find the right account types to connect at this provider.
We can connect to Ameriprise Financial but can’t find the right kind of accounts. Select an account at a different provider. (106)
Please advise. Don't ask if I have the PKG ID and DOC ID right. The problem is not user error.

I entered the information as CASE SENSITIVE and was able to import.
Sometimes the import of tax documents from financial institutions just doesn't work. TurboTax can only import what is made available by the financial institution. When this happens, you have to manually enter those documents that won't import. If you have a lot of transactions reported on a Form 1099-B, consider reporting them by category totals instead of entering each transaction.
