Unable to access form 1041 from any available menu after installing Intuit Turbotax Home and Business software last spring of 2024. I am now trying to find 1041. No luck.

It will not import a .pdf that has had password removed from past year 1041. Software is acting very simple, with no complex choices of what form such as 1041 to request.

Home & Business is only for personal 1040 returns that use Schedule C for self employment business.  To do a 1041 return you need Turbo Tax Business a separate program.  

You need the Turbo Tax Business Desktop program.  It  is a separate program from Home & Business.  It is not available to do online or on a Mac.  And it will not do your personal 1040 return.  You can have both Turbo Tax Business and a personal version (like Home & Business) installed at the same time.

And you can’t import a pdf file.  You need the tax file ending in .tax2022 to Transfer into 2023. 

It uses the same file extension as personal returns.
