Two W2 received

I've received two W2 from the same employer, with the same employer's FED ID number. The control numbers are different: same thing for the boxes 1 - 15. There is no remark so I don't know which one is correct. Should I add both of them into the system?

If the two W-2's are exactly the same, except for the control number, only enter 1 of the W-2 forms.

The only information that matches for both W2 is the employer's ID number.

Then you will want to enter both W-2s, unless you think one is an error (for instance do the two forms added together agree to what you expected as your income?  If it is more than expected, then one could be an error). To determine which is correct, you would need to contact your employer.  If you determine you need to enter both of them, see the Related Information above about adding a second W-2.

Is it normal that after adding the second W2, my refund is dramatically dropped?
