Yes? What is your question? You should be able to install the CD on both. The CD has both the Windows and Mac programs on it. If you use the download method it's only for one OS.
Let me guess ... one computer doesn't have a CD drive ? If so you will have to contact support for a download.
Sorry for the lack of clarity. I want to be able to e-file my fed & state returns on my PC with one CD, and then e-file my son's fed & state returns on his Mac with the same CD. I realize I must pay $25 to e-file each state return. Can I do that, or must I buy a second CD?
Ok. That might work. Do not use the download method to install. Once you use the download it is only for one OS like windows or Mac. So Use the CD. Even though you can install it 5 times, it seems you can only use the CD 1 time unless you install it on another computer using the other operating system like Mac.
Does the Mac have a CD drive?
If you both use the CD to download the installation file to both computers then it is supposed to work OK otherwise contact support to have a download pushed to your account.
Thank you. I know I can always print and snail mail returns, but I still don't know if I can "E-FILE" each set of federal and state returns using one CD on two devices.
Sure you can efile.
