I have TurboTax premiere and have entered all the data for my foreign accounts which give me no dividends, interest, etc. So there is no financial gain to declare other than I have some accounts. The problem is that I used TurboTax last year and had no problems. Now using TurboTax for 2020 I keep getting, "Check this entry, form 8938: Interest I form must be entered? What is the software asking me and why? Going into the software I found an area where it looks like it wants to know what form and line are the foreign account numbers entered. The problem is as a user entering data I don't know how to answer the question: Check this entry, form 8938: Interest I form must be entered?

I figured out this was not a problem because I just entered all zeroes for the dividend's, etc. Then the errors went away. Given I had no income to report this was not a problem.
