I have been a TurbotTax user since version 1. Always used Deluxe. So, imagine my surprise when this year's version of Deluxe did NOT include state software; requires a $50 download and $20 e-file. The change should have been advertised in large caps! Conclusion: I am done with TurboTax, and will use other products from now on...

where did you buy TT this year? For example, Amazon offers both version with and without State.

the version without State is MUCH cheaper. It's not a change; they have offered both versions for awhile (think TX, FL, TN, etc where State has no value)

Staples. Price was same as last year, so assumed product was the same. My mistake. Anyway, I'm quitting TurboTax, because of pricing policy.
