TurboTax keeps resetting and asking same questions again

I connected my 1099-DIV from my institution directly and it keeps asking me to add it.

Hi there,

The program may be asking you to complete a "ghost" form from last year's return that transferred over.

Try this: 

Go to the "Personal Income" tab of your interview.  Select "I'll choose what I work on".  Scroll down to the Investment portion, where you'll see the place for 1099-DIV.  Click on the "Update" icon beside the 1099-DIV.  From there, you should be able to see the 1099-DIV info for your 2020 return.  Look for an empty space and delete that empty form.
