Turbotax for Windows 2017 - can't find/download latest version

Hi there, I need to amend my 2017 filing, so I downloaded the software. When it starts it says that the final files aren't ready until 2/1/2018 so it won't be able to amend until they're ready.

1. I can't use the online update feature as my company laptop is blocking it.
2. Yet when I download the whole 2017 update, it is blocked saying it needs .NET 4.2.5, yet when I try to install that it says I already have a newer version! 

I am stuck, any advice??
