Turbotax for 2025 tax year

I added the Desktop version to my cart and it shows "Turbotax Desktop Deluxe Tax Year 2025 Win download with State".  Is this really 2025 to be filed in 2026 or is it 2024 to be filed in 2025?  I know they say mid-November release and I haven't seen anything as far as confirmed release so I am thinking this is not actually for this year.

If you bought it from the regular TurboTax website, then it's for the 2025 tax year.

In other words, they are currently selling the versions for the 2025 tax year (to be filed in 2026).

Yes the 2025 program just came out today 11/6/25.   If you have the Advantage auto-renewal plan it came out Nov 4, 2025.  It also is on Costco today.  So it’s a little earlier than we were expecting.

@nscrsnoopy6967 Did you actually purchase the TY2025 item in your cart, and were you actually able to download it?  I just tried this at the official Intuit Store on Amazon.com.  I've purchased Home & Business 2025 but there's no way (yet) to actually Download the installer...

Ah OK I see now from the TY2024 product in my Software Library @ Amazon.com that we're supposed to go to www.InstallTurboTax.com and download the product from that page.  The instructions @ Amazon.com for the TY2025 product are pretty cryptic (only says "installturbotax.com").  Got my installer now.  Yippee!
