TurboTax deluxe

Why am I being prompted to upgrade to TurboTax Deluxe to "accurately file my taxes based on my situation?" The only thing that has changed for my tax filing in the last year has been education expenses, as this is my first year at university.

Claiming educations expenses requires an upgraded version of TurboTax. If you are being claimed as a dependent by your parents, they will claim the education credits. A dependent can't claim the credits.
