Turbotax consistently overestimates my refund amounts, resulting in liens for the overpaid amount. This last lien was for $700. How do I keep this from happening?

I import my W-2 form each year. It includes all the details TurboTax needs to make an accurate assessment. How is it that they are making these mistakes each year?

You have to know what the IRS is changing on your returns.  What does their letter say?  Don't import the W2.  Try manually entering it.  Delete the imported one.  Or it could be for something else entirely.  Something else you are not entering or entering wrong.  Do you get any 1099 forms?
