TurboTax 2020 crashing - Mac

I downloaded TurboTax to file 2020 taxes for 2 states. It crashed when importing the 2019 returns but then accepted them when I tried again. I downloaded the state returns for 2 states. When I get to the page to enter the W-2 details by inputting the Employer ID, it crashes. I have probably tried 20 times. 

I am on a Mac if that matters

It's doing the exact thing for me too.  2020 Turbotax Premier for Mac.  Crashes when trying to enter W2 info for my employer.  If I skip that W2 for now and enter my wife's W2 info that works, but then if I try to enter a new W2 for my employer, it crashes after entering the Employer's FED ID number...

If you are using the Download/Desktop version, you will need to make sure you have updated your software.  For Mac, please see this Help Article.

Does updating the software actually solve this problem? I can't link to my bank, everything I input keeps getting erased, I'm going crazy.
