TurboTax 2018 for mac updater downloads but never updates. Each time I start the app it tells me that updates are required which eventually downloads & then quits,

I  successfully installed (I think) the CD purchased from Amazon.  I then launched the application & was told I had to install updates - no options.  I hit CONTINUE & it downloads 220 Mb &  tells me to hit CONTINUE to restart & install.  I do & the product does NOT restart so I manually launch it again & we start over with the download/install process for the same 220 Mb file.

I have a 2017 Macbook Pro 15" w/ 16 Gb running macOS 10.14.4 (Mojave)

Unfortunately, I don’t have the solution for you. But I’m having similar issue—my turbotax for Mac 2018 appears to be stuck. I attempt to update the last needed 20 forms—it appears to download and then update but nothing changes when I restart the program. Good luck.

I called support & for some unknown reason, the update worked while she was on the phone!  She had me install some sort of session-share app & while she was watching (?) it worked.  Don't know what to tell you now.
