No I did not!!. I even started a brand new return to see if I could fudge things but still get the same answer!!
GRRR 😡😡- Its a Turbo Tax glitch imo. I'm mailing my CA return in, then next year I'm done with Turbo Tax.
I'm getting the Same issue trying to efile both FED & CA. It definitely looks like a system glitch I have always been able to efile both Fed & Ca & mail in the Form 568 separately.
I use TurboTax online self-employment and I am getting that exact message.
We won't be able to efile your return
Reason for efile ineligibility:
Reasons including one instance of Form 568 cannot be filed electronically at this time
Turbo Tax does not support this information to be filed electronically
The good news is you can still file your CA return by mail
Has anybody disregarded this message and proceed to see if California return was submitted in fact or not? Maybe it is just a messaging error.
Do you Qualify for a Fed Refund? If so you can try to click Pay Turbo Tax by applying a portion of your Fed Refund & it will allow you to move to next screen to see if CA Efile is an option.
If you OWE Fed in my case, the only option to move to the next screen is to Pay the TT Fee with a Credit card, before you are even allow to go to that screen.
Yes, I kept going and still will not allow CA e-file. Original poster is correct. Always have been able to e-file CA for single member LLC and print and mail 3522. Multimember LLC, SCORP, CCORP needed the TT business and not just the TT home & business. Also, have been given the run around by support who know nothing about it.
Anyone have a workaround for this?
Updated my software yesterday and Turbo Tax still not allowing efile!
Got the same problem. will be returning CD to Costco....
The live CPA I spoke with said that this is an error, and they expect it to be resolved on the 20th of February. I'm going to check back around the 21st.
I believe it's because there is a overload of CA forms in there online/ mobile software and that's why they simply asked you to mail the form and they will take care of it . Sometimes these kinds of things happen when filling out your taxes period . Online or by mail .
Any update? This thread says it might be fixed soon, another thread says it's a CA problem and won't be fixed.
At his point, i would suggest to print the return and mail. This seems to be a Ca issue that seems to be ongoing. This is not a Turbo Tax issue.
Any words yet? i have the same problem. I always mailed in the 568 form separately.
Are we able to get an official response? This issue is preventing me from E-Filing federal with a generic error message. My only option is to print both forms.
What is the point of paying over $110 if you are unable to submit.
Please either fix the underlying issue or let us E-File Federal/CA state and mail the Form 568 like previous years.

Yes. Tho official response is right here - e-file "unsupported":
https://care-cdn.prodsupportsite.a.intuit.com/forms-availability/turbotax_ca_online_individual.html
The cost is for the use of the software whether you e-file or mail file. There is not additional charge for e-file if available.
The answer is bull**bleep**! We know the form568 is not supported. But the main reason we bought turbotax home business because we want to efile. I have e-filed CA state for several years already through Turbotax home buiness while mail the form 568 separately. Turbotax better resolve the issue. Otherwise, I will not use it again next year. Turbotax always good at customer service. This time is really mess up. Wonder if I should stop buying Turbotax stock.
