Turbo tax will not let you remove product or services that you no longer require. Even after explicitly stating that you don't qualify for the service. This is theft.

I didn't get a Fereral return this year. I've already had to restart the process 3 times due to various charges that can't be removed once selected. This system is theft of the customers. I've been trying for the past two hours just to get a 'pay with refund' charge off my account. This website is designed to rob you.

select pay by credit card and you won't be paying out of refund.

TurboTax publishes specific instructions (somewhere)  on how to change or drop the items in your "list of fees".

HI Fanfare, that doesn't solve the problem. Paying isn't what's made difficult. I'm getting charged $40, as if I'm paying with my Federal return, even though I can't do that. If I pay with credit card, it's still charging me an additional $40 'pay with federal return' service fee.

There are even instructions on the website of how to remove this specific charge. However they instruct you to use a link that doesn't exist. It's appalling the way this website is set up. Turbo Tax must make a huge additional stream of revenue just by misleading it's customers.
