Turbo Tax input method

For 2024, inputting our 1099 info. was far too difficult. It's never been like this before. We have used Turbotax since its inception. 

 

Lining up all the different kinds of 1099 types in one long list doesn't work. Separate the INTs from the DIVs to make it easier. The list them the way we listed them the year before.

 

It took twice as long this year.

    You are not alone. Many users are complaining about the new way 1099 data is entered. Maybe if enough people complain they will go back to the way it was.

    I completely agree and had the same confusing and time-consuming experience this year.
