It used to be TT forms mostly available in TT CD/Download Version. Is it still the same or TT made any changes to its online version.
I am trying to decide which software to buy. I like to have forms mode.
From past what I remember from last year "forms mode" only appears in TT online once you prepare, print and pay for your tax return for its online version. At that time I did not find a way to make any changes. May be I was new.
Any way I end up moving back to CD version.

With online you can go back and make corrections before you file but you still have to do that by way of the interview screens---you never have direct access to the forms in online in order to enter or change information. If your PC or Mac can support the CD/download I suggest sticking with that software. it is much easier to navigate and is much more cost effective if you need to prepare multiple returns.
Online TT does not have Forms mode. That is a feature of the CD/download. With online, you can only see a peek at your Form 1040 until you have paid your fees. You do not have direct access to the forms while you are preparing the return online. After you pay you can print your return and see the other forms before you file if you want to.
Thanks for quick reply.
In turbo Tax CD version, every year I always found small errors in forms which I had to manually change in forms mode but I don't recall these error had any impact tax I owe or refund I am going to get.
Lets say you found some errors in Online version. Since you have already paid, is there a way to correct those errors in TT online version before you file.
OR I should stick with CD version?
