Turbo Tax Application Changes

The application did not have me upload last years tax returns. It appears to be starting from scratch.  Why??? I need help.

    Are you using the Online version or the Desktop program?  Which did you use for 2018? 

     

    For Online, if it didn't transfer maybe you are not in the right account.  It's common to end up with multiple accounts. First LOG OUT of whatever TurboTax account you're logged into right now. Then use this TurboTax account recovery website to get a list of user ID's for an email address. Run the tool against any email addresses you may have used

    If you used the online version for your 2018 taxes, then there's nothing to upload. It's already there. But you ***MUST*** use the same exact login account that you used last year when completing your 2018 return. Only then can the online program *know* you have a 2018 tax return to import from.
