I installed TurboTax 2924 Premier without any issues and entered most of my tax information over many days. No issues at all.
Now when I click on the icon, the TurboTax software will not even load. I get the error message "TurboTax Error: Looks like we've run into an error"
I checked all my system updates and rebooted just to make sure everything installed correctly during the last upgrade. I even installed the software, downloaded a new version, installed that new version and when the install process asked to Launch TurboTax, I am receiving the same error. No error messages appeared during the installation. What could be causing this issue. I need to complete my taxes. Other versions of TurboTax I have on the computer runs without issues. HELP!!!!!

I'm having identical problems. I installed a week ago, and it worked fine, although I did not start return. When trying to start today I got the same message. Tried to reboot, do disk clean-up, reboot, uninstall and reinstall the program, same message, Running windows 11 pro, p[urchased on Amazon.. I also tried running as an administrator, same error
Sometime the online update doesn't work and you need to do a manual update. Try these steps and if it doesn't work then let me know:

For me the superpatch did not even work, but the microsoft Visual C++ update did the trick
