I mean state e-filing.
How much is it before the increase (till Feb 29)? How much is it after the increase (on or after March 1)?
Thanks.

The state e-file fee goes from $20 to $25 in March. You can avoid the state e-file fee by printing and mailing the state return.
And....when it asks if you want to pay the state e-file fee from your federal refund---DO NOT DO THAT. If you say you will pay from your federal refund, it will add another extra fee of $40 ($45 in CA) to the cost for "refund processing."
@xmasbaby0 I will never get the fee from refund, regardless if there is extra processing fee. I will use credit card for credit card reward point.
When trying to print my state prior to extension deadline I was offered an efile instead.
Trying to efile my state. It was offering efile today for a discount for $20
but I could not get it to work. Someone else said the TurboTax is down today
and to wait till Monday. Do you know anything about that?
