TT did not flag missing W-2 Income as an error

I was surprised that there is not a place or site to report suspected software bugs or errors to TurboTax, so I am posting the information here:

The wages amount from Box 1 on one of my W-2s was missing, even though tax paid (Box 2 etc.) were entered. This did not appear as a "flag" when I ran the TT check on the return. This could have been a major error on the return. I only found out when i tried to submit to the fed electronically and they rejected it for having an empty Box 1.

The lesson my be that I had too much confidence in the TT error checking, but this seems like something it should have caught. This error really shook my confidence in TT, so I am more careful now to go through everything.
