I have downloaded and installed TT 2024 but it will download updates and install them but then receive error message that I am not connected to the internet. I have reinstalled, restarted and even paid for the CD TT2024 software, nothing helps and TT Support tells me that it is an Apple problem, which I doubt. I shut down the firewall disconnected antivirus nothing helps.

I am having same issue only on Windows 10. Have disabled firewall, restarted, made sure I have all Windows 10 updates, etc. All my other apps. connect with the internet, but not Turbo Tax. I use 2024 Turbo Business and 2024 Turbo Tax Home and Business. Same problem on both.
The only 'solution' I've seen to this is to create a new user account and install TT under that, which is not ideal but has worked for some people. Someone on a different thread thought there was some issue to do with keychain/passwords related to old versions, but couldn't nail it down (so it's not connectivity issue, but some other issue connecting to the mothership).
FWIW here's one of the threads on this - but mixes up Windows and Mac issues, and kicked off around the time there was an actual outage on the TT side one Friday afternoon but when that resolved a small number of folks were still stuck.
