Trying to transfer 2022 return info to 2023. I see 2022 Turbotax pdr return but file turbotax 2023 says file too large. What forms on list are needed?

How do you search for the Federal return file. I see it in Mac Downloads. That is too large per Turbotax 2023. In Turbotax 2022 I see the list of forms but don't know how to get those to 2023 because not sure how to search it in the transfer box.

You need to transfer the 2022 tax data file to the 2023 tax return that you started.  The 2022 tax data file will have a file extension of .tax2022.  It is stored by default in the Documents directory within the TurboTax folder.

You can try a search for the tax data file if it is not in the TurboTax folder.
