When trying to e-File my Federal and Virginia returns for my LLC (Form 1120 S Corp), it takes me to transmit then brings me back to the screen "we need to make one more check". It then presents my VA Pass Thru Entity Information Worksheet and says the review searches for incomplete information, but there is nothing incomplete on the page.
It also asks me to select a box from Section A on form 502A but none of the boxes appear relevant to my business. This also appears to either be a new form as I do not believe I have changed anything from last year's return which did not require this form.
I'm assuming something is wrong on both of these forms that is preventing me from e-Filing in VA, but I cannot figure out what/why.

Recommend go into Forms mode and try deleting the Form 502A.
I'm having the exact same issue trying to e-file my VA Form 502. I went into Forms and attempted to delete the VA Pass-Through Entity Information Worksheet, but I received the message that the form cannot be deleted. It seems to be hung up on the business name, which is correct. I tried overriding the business name and I also tried removing any punctuation from the name--neither adjustments fixed the issue.
Deleting 502A from the forms view allowed me to transmit/e-file, but then all of my income was in VA so I didn't need the form. I wonder if there is a bug that assumes numbers for both Form 502 and 502A even if there is no apportionment requirement (all income in-state).
I am have a real problem transmitting my VA Pass Through Entity all looks ok then it gets me back on Sec 502A but this does not apply to my company. Help!

I had the same issue. If you are entering "No Entry" in the Form 502A worksheet form, then simply DELETE FORM 502A!!! This is the fix!
Delete the Form 502A sheet. Go to FORMS on the top right and then OPEN FORM at the top left (because Form 502A is not on the dropdown list). Then the form 502A appears. If you selected "No Entry" on the step by step for this form, go ahead and delete it at the bottom ribbon at the bottom of your screen. Simple fix,...then complete the submit process.

I struggled with this issue in 2019 and 2020 before figuring it out after 6+ hours on the phone with Turbo Tax. Got lucky on a hunch by deleting the form from the submittal.
See my thread in the history. You HAVE to delete Form 502A. There is no other work around. My business name kept coming up as an issue until this form was deleted.
Thanks! Finding and deleting the 502A worked. Why don't they just make Form 502A optional? If your company does not do business out of the state, it is not required!
