Trying to continue my return saved on flash drive. using Desktop software. Getting message "error in opening tax return file". Do I have to start over??

I'm opening from the flash drive with the software loaded on Desktop. Software is acknowledging a file since it refers to continuing my return. Any other way to retrieve?

Copy the 2023 tax data file from your flash drive to your hard drive C:\ preferably into your Documents directory and the TurboTax folder.
