Trouble with rejected federal return?

<P>My return was rejected on 3/28/25 for an issue with Joint Occupancy on Form 5695. I see now that the issue is fixed according to the IRS website, but I still can't submit my fixed return. On the turboTax if I click "fix my rejected" I only have the option of submitting my state, and if I do that the process errors out saying the state return needs to be linked to a federal return. <BR /><BR />If I try to mail file instead of e-file, I see that my federal return there says pending still despite the tax home saying rejected. Do I just need to keep waiting for my federal to be fully rejected? Or is something else amiss? </P>

Very happy to hear that! The issue was related to Form 5695. The patch regarding this form went live on 04/04/25, but certain returns needed some additional help, if you will.
