Trouble with Estate Schedule K-1 on California Returns

I received a federal Schedule K-1 for my fathers estate. I live in California and the estate was in Arizona. The CPA in Arizona sent me a federal Schedule K-1. Turbo Tax is assuming I have a California K-1 to report, which I do not have. Is this something I need to obtain?

Trouble with Estate Schedule K-1 on California Returns

If the Estate is in Arizona, the estate return should have provided an Arizona Schedule K-1 along with the federal copy. Be sure you have entered an Arizona address for the estate on the K-1 entry topic.

Unless the estate had California-sourced income, there should be no need to file a California estate return.
